Starting a chat is the first step in connecting with colleagues, sharing updates, or asking quick questions. Whether you need to message one person or bring a group together, opening a new conversation only takes a moment.
To start a chat by sending a message, follow the steps:
Click + next to Direct Messages.
Click in the To field.
Click on a single contact to begin a direct message.
Click on multiple contacts to start a group chat.
Type your message.
Click the send
icon.
