Whether you're on the go, need to express tone or urgency, or just prefer speaking over typing, you can now record, preview, and cancel audio messages before sending. Plus, with playback controls for received messages, staying in the loop is simple and seamless. Itโs a fast, expressive way to communicate when typing isnโt ideal.
To send an audio message, follow these steps:
โ ๏ธ Important: You must allow microphone permissions to proceed.
Click the microphone
icon.If prompted for microphone permissions, click Allow.
Record your message.
Click the pause
and microphone
icons to pause and resume recording at any point.
Click the bin
icon to delete your recording.
To finish recording, click the tick
icon, then click the send
icon.
Type a message if you want to include text with your audio, then click the send
icon. Alternatively, to cancel your audio message, click the X
icon.
Playback controls
When you receive an audio message there are playback controls available to start, pause, skip, change the volume and speed, as desired.
