Download and log in to the mobile app

In this article, we explain how to download the mobile app, log in to it for the first time and detail what to expect.

You can keep up to date with your messages by using our handy mobile app.

Download the mobile app

To download the mobile app, visit the App Store or Google Play depending on if you've got an Apple or Android device. Follow the on-screen instructions presented to you to complete installation.

Log in to the app

After installing the app, you can log in for the first time and set up a passcode:

  1. Log in using your Access Evo credentials.

  2. Choose a six-digit passcode and confirm it.

  3. You're now logged in, able to look around and use Access Messenger.


What to expect

Once you've logged in, you see a screen divided into three parts:

Header

The header area has three key features:

  • Hamburger menu icon : By clicking this menu, you're presented with your organisation details and personal user details. If you're part of multiple organisations you'll also have the option to switch between them here, as long as they have Access Messenger enabled. You can also sign out of the app from here too.

  • Page title: Messages.

  • Messenger icon : By clicking this icon it takes you directly back to the Messages screen.

Main message screen

All chats you're part of are visible here. If you're part of multiple chats, you're able to see the last 30 chats when scrolling through them. You can also start a chat here using the new message pencil icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

Footer

The footer consists of a Messages icon

From here, you see a small counter to note how many unread messages you have at the time.
