We're excited to introduce Access Messenger v1.2.6, delivering enhanced mobile navigation, improved search capabilities, and strengthened security controls. This release focuses on improving user experience across mobile and desktop platforms with intuitive navigation features, while also addressing critical user permission and access control issues to ensure secure communication.
Improved Search & Discovery
Group Search by Name
Users can now search for groups by typing part of the group name in the search box. The search supports partial matching, making it easier to find and join specific groups quickly.
Enhanced Message Composition
Multi-line Message Support (EVO Workspace)
Desktop users can now create line breaks in messages by pressing Enter, enabling better formatted messages with paragraphs. Messages are sent by clicking the arrow send button, preventing accidental sends while composing.
Performance & Reliability Improvements
Enhanced Mobile App Stability
Improved mobile app reliability and performance with updated backend configurations, resulting in fewer crashes and faster response times.
Better App Resume Experience
When switching back to Messenger from other apps, the content now stays current and properly synchronized, ensuring you don't miss any messages.
Enhanced Mobile Navigation
Swipe-to-Go-Back Navigation (iOS)
Users can now swipe from the left edge of the screen to return to the message list when viewing an individual chat. This natural gesture makes navigation faster and more intuitive, aligning with standard iOS interaction patterns.
Security & User Management Fixes
Disabled User Indication
Fixed issue where disabled users still appeared active in existing chats. Users are now properly indicated when they can no longer receive messages, improving communication clarity and preventing confusion.
Permission Access Control
Resolved issues with role-based permissions ensuring users only access Messenger when they have proper authorization. Fixed problems where removed permissions weren't immediately enforced.
Mobile Bug Fixes
Message Chronological Ordering
Fixed iOS issue where new messages weren't displayed in proper chronological order when the app was backgrounded and then reopened.
Group Chat Visibility
Resolved problem where new group chats didn't appear in the chat list immediately after notification, eliminating the need to log out and back in.
Message Reply Context
Fixed bug where replying to a message after opening or refreshing the app could send the reply to an incorrect chat thread.
We appreciate your continued feedback and support as we enhance Access Messenger.
Thank you for using Access Messenger!
