We’re pleased to announce the release of Access Messenger v1.1.2, delivering key enhancements that improve user safety, streamline moderation workflows, and enable smarter mobile communications.

This version introduces features designed to empower both end users and admin teams while improving performance across platforms.

What's new

Background Push Notifications – Mobile

Messenger now supports native push notifications (APNS for iOS, FCM for Android), ensuring users receive real-time alerts even when the app is closed. Notifications include quick actions such as reply and mark as read.

Message Flagging – Mobile & Web

Users can now flag inappropriate messages directly from chat. On mobile, long-press any message to flag it. On the web, use the “⋮” menu next to an image. Duplicate flags are prevented, and confirmation is provided after submission.

Moderation Panel – Enhanced Message Auditing for Admins

Administrators can now view and search all messages using the updated moderation interface. Flagged content is highlighted for quicker decision-making. The panel supports filters by user, channel, and flag status. Deleted messages can be reviewed via a visibility toggle.

Visual Indicator for Deleted Messages – Mobile

Deleted messages now appear with reduced opacity, improving visibility and transparency across chat history. This subtle cue helps teams understand context without displaying the original content.

We appreciate your continued feedback and support as we enhance Access Messenger.

Thank you for using Access Messenger!

This releases on 28 April 2025 for both desktop and mobile, pending store approval for mobile app.
