Report a message

In this article, we explain how to report a message using the flag feature and how administrators can review them.

Everyone plays a part in keeping conversations safe and respectful. If you see a message or image that’s inappropriate, concerning, or doesn’t meet expected standards, you can report it using the message flagging feature.

Flagging content helps ensure issues are reviewed and addressed quickly, supporting a positive and welcoming environment for all users.

Flag a message

To flag a message, follow these simple steps:

  1. Hover over the message and click the three dots to the right.

  2. Click Flag.

  3. A confirmation message appears at the bottom of the page stating, 'Message has been successfully flagged'.


Review flagged messages

To review a flagged message, follow these steps:

⚠️ Important: To follow these steps, you need Administrator permissions.

  1. Click Moderation Tools, then choose Flagged Messages or Flagged Images.

  2. View the flagged messages or images that appear.

    📌 Note: Underneath the message preview, you can see when it was flagged and by whom.

  3. Once you've identified whether the message is inappropriate or not, choose how to act:

  • To approve the message and allow it to remain in the chat, choose the approve icon.

  • To remove the message from the chat, choose the delete icon.
